Service Times

In 1981, only months after they got married, our Senior Pastors Kirk and Nancy Pankratz's passion for the local church began. They became deeply involved in a new, start-up church in Western Oklahoma. While Kirk was operating a successful business and Nancy was a registered nurse, they made time to serve in their church as a volunteer assistant minister. In 1986, along with their three small children, Natalie, Grant and Megan, Kirk and Nancy pioneered a church in Cordell, Oklahoma. Youth America, a national ministry to teenagers, was started there. It continues to be a major outreach of Harvest, having hosted over 100,000 teenagers in summer camps over almost three decades.

In 1989, Kirk and Nancy relocated to Oklahoma City and launched Church of the Harvest. It began in a small hotel conference room with 14 people. Since then, Harvest has increased to multiple locations with several weekend services and has grown to over 3000+ members. Campus locations include Oklahoma City and Edmond.

The journey has been filled with numerous key milestones along the way including the expansion into a multi-site church. Original Harvest music has been published by Hillsong Australia & others. The Youth America 50+ acre campus with dormitory housing for 840 students weekly for summer camps with a gymnasium, Jr. Olympic-sized swimming pool, commercial kitchen operation and more was built. Many of the key staff of the church were actually younger generations who grew up inside Harvest.

Senior Pastors Kirk & Nancy Pankratz are respected as a pastor to pastors around the country and a long-standing pastor in Oklahoma. The Pankratz children are now all married - Natalie & Chandler Boyce (with 1 child, Vivian), Grant & Monica Pankratz (with 2 kids Naomi & Boston) and Jordan & Megan Wunder.

Harvest impacts lives locally, nationally and globally with the love of Jesus. Various ministries and programs we are involved include: Youth America, Harvest Foster Kids Programs, Oklahoma Disaster Recovery Project, Community Outreaches, and Global Missions efforts. With high-profile annual conferences like Girlfriends Conference (March), Youth America Summer Camps (June/July), and Youth America Leadership Conference (November), Harvest is serving hundreds of regional and national churches and leaders.
